Hazel has always been keen on learning new things and challenging herself. She has a variety of interests, but it always came back to her interest in people, especially how people can thrive and flourish. It also kick-started her studies in organisational and industrial psychology where she was given an award for being the top student in her honours group. Starting 2023, she will continue her studies by completing her master's degree.

She is a project coordinator and client liaison for Rescript Consulting as well as a coach who specialises in individual-, team-, study methods-, and career- coaching. She is also passionate about organisational development, change management and seeing structures support the growth and development of people in organisations. She has 7 years’ experience in the HR/IR field, and she also tutors Afrikaans and mathematics part-time. In her free time, she likes to learn new languages, write poetry and prose, learn the cello, and exercise.
